 Whose grace?

 In a city in Arabia there lived a woman - her name was Umm Ja'far.

 Her generosity was well-known, but she gave quietly... so that if one gave a hand, the other would not know.

 One day she passed by a lonely road, where two blind beggars were sitting.

 The first poor man would raise his hands and say: "O Allah! Give sustenance out of your grace!"

 The second fakir would say: "O Lord! Give me the charity of Umm Ja'far!"

 Umm Jafar stopped…smiled…and quietly started giving them both.

 Earlier, a poor man got two dirhams a day.

 and another a fragrant roast chicken.

 But here the story takes a turn…

 The second fakir immediately sold the chicken to the first fakir for two dirhams.

 This went on for several days.

 One day Umm Ja'far asked him: "Did you never get much wealth?"

 He said: "No... I only get chicken, which I sell for a living."

 There was a slight sadness in Umm Jafar's eyes.

 She said: "I used to hide ten dinars inside each chicken..."

 It was heard that the beggar's hands began to tremble...

 He cried out: "Oh my loss! What have I lost!"

 Umm Ja'far said gently: "Whoever asks Allah, he is never deprived...

 And he who hopes from servants, often loses the real blessing…”

 Lesson (Moral)

 A person who believes in Allah's grace becomes rich even in less...

 And the one who lives on the support of people, he does not even recognize the great blessing

 فضل کس کا؟

عرب کے ایک شہر میں ایک عورت رہتی تھی—نام تھا امِ جعفر۔

اس کی سخاوت مشہور تھی، مگر وہ خاموشی سے دیتی تھی… ایسے کہ ایک ہاتھ دے تو دوسرے کو خبر نہ ہو۔

ایک دن وہ ایک سنسان راستے سے گزری، جہاں دو نابینا فقیر بیٹھے تھے۔

پہلا فقیر ہاتھ اٹھا کر کہتا: “یا اللہ! اپنے فضل سے رزق عطا فرما!”

دوسرا فقیر کہتا: “اے رب! مجھے امِ جعفر کے صدقے سے دے!”

امِ جعفر رکی… مسکرائی… اور خاموشی سے دونوں کو دینے لگی۔

پہلے فقیر کو روز دو درہم ملتے…

اور دوسرے کو ایک خوشبودار بھنی ہوئی مرغی۔

لیکن یہاں کہانی پلٹتی ہے…

دوسرا فقیر وہ مرغی فوراً پہلے فقیر کو دو درہم میں بیچ دیتا۔

یہ سلسلہ کئی دن چلتا رہا…

ایک دن امِ جعفر نے اس سے پوچھا: “کیا تمہیں کبھی زیادہ دولت نہیں ملی؟”

وہ بولا: “نہیں… مجھے تو بس مرغی ملتی ہے، جسے بیچ کر گزارا کرتا ہوں۔”

امِ جعفر کی آنکھوں میں ہلکی سی اداسی آئی…

وہ بولی: “میں ہر مرغی کے اندر دس دینار چھپا کر دیتی تھی…”

یہ سننا تھا کہ فقیر کے ہاتھ کانپنے لگے…

وہ چیخ اٹھا: “ہائے میری محرومی! میں نے کیا کھو دیا!”

امِ جعفر نے نرمی سے کہا: “جو اللہ سے مانگتا ہے، وہ کبھی محروم نہیں ہوتا…

اور جو بندوں سے امید لگاتا ہے، وہ اکثر اصل نعمت کھو دیتا ہے…”

سبق (Moral)

جو انسان اللہ کے فضل پر یقین رکھتا ہے، وہ کم میں بھی غنی ہو جاتا ہے…

اور جو لوگوں کے سہارے جیتا ہے، وہ بڑی نعمت بھی پہچان نہیں پاتا۔
