One key factor scientists look for is water, as it is considered essential for life. 

That is why planets or moons with possible water sources receive more attention.

Much of what people know about aliens comes from movies, stories, and personal claims. Some individuals report seeing aliens or unidentified flying objects (UFOs), but these claims have not been scientifically verified.

There is also a scientific effort known as SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), which listens for signals from space in hopes of detecting intelligent life trying to communicate with us. P P

This research uses advanced radio telescopes to scan the universe.

If aliens do exist, they may be very different from humans. Their appearance, communication methods, and way of life could be completely unlike ours. 

Some scientists believe alien life might exist in the form of simple microorganisms, while others think there could be highly advanced civilizations far beyond our technology.
